Mobility & Connectivity
Parkways
Walkways and green corridors connecting these parks:
- Taman TasikTitiwangsa
- Taman Rekreasi Ayer Panas
- Taman Tasik Sri Rampai
- Irama Wangsa’s Private Hillpark
- Bukit Dinding
Public Transport
Close the gap on the first mile and last mile connectivity by providing shuttle service to connect residential areas to:
- Public transport hubs (LRT / MRT / Bus Stop)
- Commercial centres
- Public amenities (schools, Masjid, clinic, etc)
Cycling Lanes
- Establish dedicated cycling lanes on all roads.
- Special emphasis can be made to establish safe zones / safe pathways near schools to support and facilitate more children to cycle to school. These zones can also have supporting rules such as no-idling, lower speed limit, no commercial / heavy vehicles, etc.
Pedestrian Walkways
- Establish dedicated pedestrian walkways across streets and intersections linking up parkways, public transport hubs and cycling lanes.
- Partner with Insurance providers to promote a healthy lifestyle. They could also fund such infrastructure development in-exchange for advertising, branding, etc.
