Mobility & Connectivity

Parkways

Walkways and green corridors connecting these parks:

  • Taman TasikTitiwangsa
  • Taman Rekreasi Ayer Panas
  • Taman Tasik Sri Rampai
  • Irama Wangsa’s Private Hillpark
  • Bukit Dinding

Public Transport

Close the gap on the first mile and last mile connectivity by providing shuttle service to connect residential areas to:

  • Public transport hubs (LRT / MRT / Bus Stop)
  • Commercial centres
  • Public amenities (schools, Masjid, clinic, etc)

Cycling Lanes

  • Establish dedicated cycling lanes on all roads.
  • Special emphasis can be made to establish safe zones / safe pathways near schools to support and facilitate more children to cycle to school. These zones can also have supporting rules such as no-idling, lower speed limit, no commercial / heavy vehicles, etc.

Pedestrian Walkways

  • Establish dedicated pedestrian walkways across streets and intersections linking up parkways, public transport hubs and cycling lanes.
  • Partner with Insurance providers to promote a healthy lifestyle. They could also fund such infrastructure development in-exchange for advertising, branding, etc.
